Ch-ch-ch-changes...

So much has changed over the past 6 months. A new ministry opportunity for Patrick and a new home in a new state top the list. Not to mention the birth of a baby 10 months ago, the sale of a house, and a complete change of lifestyle and pace for all of us!

Arkansas is beautiful and it feels like going home in a way. I lived in the state from age 5-age 21. My parents are 90 miles away...still in Warren at FBC! So many outdoor opportunities. It's nice to be able to waterski, hike, canoe and camp all in a day.

Patrick loves the new church...Geyer Springs FBC in Little Rock. He is quite busy. I am currently at home with the kids...a new adventure for sure! We live in Benton (a suburb of LR) and we live in the country...about 20 minutes from good shopping. Country livin' is great except for when I want the convenience of the city. I have learned to buy in bulk and to "make do" with what is on hand. I have gotten really creative at times!

God is teaching us so much! Can't wait to share...

More, later. Molly is awake and hungry. What else is new?

It's been awhile...

...3 months to be exact. Much has happened! Molly Mathis Henry will be arriving in less than 15 weeks. It's unbelievable! So much to get done...Patrick wants to paint the house and get the yard in shape. I would settle for getting the nursery set up! We decided to limit the pink and pastels. Her room will be warm with reds, oranges, yellows, apple green, and light blue.

Max is eagerly awaiting her birth but is keeping busy. He loves the spring weather and enjoys playing outside. It is a joy to watch him grow, each day. He loves preschool and spending time with his friends. AWANA and Mission Friends are coming to a close and we are gearing up for summer! God has truly blessed our family!

I am a blogger...

Wow...I never thought that I would be a blogger! Being technologically challenged, it seemed impossible!!! Anyway, I hope to be a good blogger and update frequently...Many changes are coming our way. We will be adding a new member to our huddle in July. We were able to see the little peanut yesterday and everything looks great! The heartbeat was 168 bpm. We still don't know if it is a boy/girl. We hope to find out next month.
Today is Patrick's 1st day of Upward Basketball. He will be occupied every Saturday for 8 weeks. We live for March! He is also in charge of World Changers this summer. He really enjoyed heading it up, last year. It was a great trip for all who came to Jackson! He is also planning for our annual wild game banquet at FBCJ that has grown substantially every year.
Max is 3 1/2 and really looking forward to meeting the baby. He loves to go to school and play with his friends. He also loves Cubbies and Mission Friends. He is very active and can't wait to play soccer, this fall!
I am now directing elevate, our student worship ministry group. We have approximately 80 students every Sunday. We will be traveling to Mission Arlington in the spring for our tour and mission work. It is exciting to see how God is working in these kids' lives! I am also still helping to lead worship for The Link on Sunday Mornings. I am also teaching music 4 mornings a week at Max's preschool. Such fun!
As you can see, our family is very active! We appreciate any and all prayers!
